Yesterday Todd Bratrud's Nike SB cigar was released only at the skatepark of Tampa.
Only in Tampa, why? In the late 19th century, there were many cigar factories in Florida making that specific area known for it's cigar production.
This is a limited release for now just in Tampa, but sometime in the future nike will release the "Cigars" on a larger scale.
The skatepark of Tampa has 100 hundred pairs with a limited edition box and custom insoles.
Probably the coolest part of this shoe is that it has brown cigar leaf texture on the side panel of the shoe, and when you tear it off it will give the shoe a look of a burnt cigar.
On september 8th at 8:30 the bidding started for the Nike Air Mag's, which were based off of the shoe Marty Mcfly wore in Back to The Future 2.
Unfortunately the mags do not lace themselves up like they do in the movie. But hey, this clip is in 2015, so we still have 4 years to go before we will see shoes that lace themselves up.
Nike only made 1500 pairs of the Mag's, and will only sell 150 pairs a day on ebay. All of the money made from the shoes will go to the Micheal J fox foundation. So far the average pair of nike mags run $4180.
Tinie Tempah was lucky enough to get the first pair of Mags at the actual auction for the release of the Mags for $37,500
Here is the link to the ebay where the mags are selling at
nikemag.ebay.com hopefully you are lucky enough to win a pair of these bad boys, you might have a chance because Kid Cudi already won 4 pairs, but we cant all be that lucky. Happy bidding, and GOD SPEED!!!
